The holidays are coming up fast and there is never enough time to shop for everyone. Trying to decide what to get someone can feel overwhelming and taxing. However, I have made a list of gifts you can give the reader in your life. Most of these are gifts I have used myself, and can say they are my favorite things as a reader. From gifts that are small and inexpensive to larger and pricier gifts, this list will have something for every reader on your list.
Glocusent Neck Reading Light
While I have tried the lights that clip to my books, I always had a hard time getting the light on both pages. Or for a paperback book those don’t just sit right on them. But now I have this neck light! It gets both pages as I am reading. It is comfortable around my neck, it is rechargeable, and it comes in three different lamp colors. It is perfect for a reader, especially one who likes to read at night, or doesn’t like overhead lights on.

Gift Card
A gift card to their favorite bookstore is always a welcome gift. This can be an independent bookstore, Barnes and Noble, Kobo for the digital reader, or Libro.fm if they are into audiobooks. Maybe you don’t know where to start or you want them to have the freedom to choose. Any amount would be great for a reader.
Novelty Gifts
Something fun for your reader is a coin or a die to help them decide. These are fun stocking stuffers and can help them decide if they should go to bed or read another chapter. Or in the case of the dice, decide what to read next when they are in that slump.
Blanket
Going with the cozy theme, a nice warm blanket is just what a reader needs. Curling up with their book and a cozy blanket is the perfect recipe of coziness. If you have a reader that gets extra cold, think of getting a heated blanket so they can determine how warm they want to be. I love mine and use it every winter to keep me toasty warm.
Books
Books are always a great gift. If you know your reader, get the newest thriller or romance they haven’t read yet. Just make sure to check their list before so you don’t get a duplicate.
E-reader
If you have the money to spend, think of getting them an e-reader. I personally use the Kobo Libra 2 BW. I love mine! The size, the interface, and of course the CEO is on Threads and he seems like a delight. You can now get the e-reader in color. There is also the Clara which is a bit smaller. Find all their options here.
Headphones
If you have an audiobook reader in your life a great pair of headphones is just what they need. AirPods Pro are great for in-ear type headphones. They have active noise cancellation and tips to help sit comfortably in your ear. If your reader doesn’t like having headphones in their ears, Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones are for them. I currently have the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Though they are no longer made, you can still get noise cancelling headphones. I love how they fit around the ears, the headband is comfortable, and they are amazing when it comes to noise cancelling.
These are just some of the many gifts you can get the reader in your life. At the end of the day, pick a gift you know they will love and appreciate. I hope this list was helpful and you have a wonderful holiday season!
